Definition and structure

Definition: Three-sided packaging is to place the product on the rectangular packaging material, and then heat seal the three sides of the material, leaving one opening for filling the product, and then seal this side after filling, and finally form a sealed packaging bag.

Structural characteristics: The finished bag is usually flat, the four corners are right angles, and the three sides form a sealed edge, with simple and regular appearance. This structure makes the packaging bag more stable during storage and transportation, and can effectively protect the internal products.

Production technology

Material preparation: Select suitable packaging materials according to product characteristics, such as plastic film (PE, PP, PET, etc.), composite materials (such as paper-plastic composite, aluminum-plastic composite). These materials need to have good barrier properties, flexibility and heat sealing.

Printing: If there is a need for packaging design, first print on packaging materials to present product information, brand logos, patterns, etc.

Bag making: the printed material is cut according to the size, and then the three sides are sealed by the heat sealing process. When heat sealing, control the temperature, pressure and time to ensure a firm seal and no leakage.

Filling and sealing: The product is put into the bag through the opening, and then the last side is sealed to complete the entire packaging process.

Application scenario

Food industry: Three-sided packaging can effectively moisture-proof, fresh-keeping, extend the shelf life of food, often used in candy, nuts, tea and other packaging.

Pharmaceutical industry: high sealing and barrier requirements for pharmaceutical packaging, three-sided packaging can prevent drugs from moisture, oxidation and microbial contamination, often used in tablets, capsules, powder and other pharmaceutical packaging.

Daily chemical industry: three-sided packaging can pack products such as washing powder, washing liquid, cosmetic samples, etc., can show the appearance of products, while ensuring product quality and stability.
